Automatic identification of fire fronts
Stochastic modeling of ember spread
Real-time wind information estimation from drones

WindTL

WindTL is a novel system on-board Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV) that provides emergency managers with informed predictions on wildfire spread and ember distribution. Utilizing a wind sensing platform on-board of UAVs and implementing an ember spread stochastic model, WindTL’s mission is to ensure the safety and health of the population, assisting emergency managers in deploying resources effectively and in an informed manner, reducing human and property losses.
THE RESULT: Enhanced prediction of wildfire movement and ember spread
